Batu (ガットー Gattō?, "Gatto") is a playable character in Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom.

Batu is a muscular man with long brown hair and a moustache.

Background[]
Batu is the leader of the Sky Pirates and the father of Tani. He is very powerful and intimidating, but also fair. He joins the player's party after rescuing Tani from the Wyvern's Den.
Later in the DLC it is revealed that he came across Tani's dying mother and took her possessions along with Tani unknowingly. Back then he only looked after himself but changed. Tani's mom spirit possessed a beast and thought that Batu killed her and stole Tani but this was proven false.
Batu can use hammers and bows.
