The Cawtermasters are a group of NPCs in Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch who own and run the Cawtermaster's Shops. They appear to be a hybrid between human and bird, but the Wizard's Companion show's skepticism towards this. In The Fairyground, however, The Cawtermaster is undeniably a fairy, simply wearing a bird-like costume over his head. "Cawtermaster" is not the name of these salesmen, but instead the title of their profession, as proven in The Fairyground. Unlike all other Cawtermasters, this one's name is displayed as Cai the Cawtermaster.
