The former Emperor of Hamelin was the father of Marcassin and Gascon, and was one of the Great Sages.
After being transported fifteen years into the past by Gallus, it is revealed that the Emperor was slain by Shadar. In his dying words, he talks fondly of his sons Marcassin and Gascon, who is revealed to be Swaine.
Appearance[]
The Emperor of Hamelin has tan skin, long dark brown hair, a large mustache and eyebrows, and purple eyes. The Emperor's clothing is similar to Marcassin's royal procession clothes, wearing a dark blue shirt with a green front with two-fleur de-lis and a red collar, a yellow belt, red and yellow cuffs, a purple cloak with a gold clasp and a gold hem, purple pants, and brown boots.

At some point, he and fellow Great Sage, Alicia, visited the Glittering Grotto.
