Creatures are formed wherever life force is found. This spell allows a wizard to form a creature from the life force within his own heart--a creature which then becomes his familiar. Be at peace with yourself prior to casting this spell as the result is invariably self-revelatory. A familiar thus formed is a manifestation of your heart and soul.
Form Familiar is an everyday spell that summons forth a familiar from the caster's heart to fight beside him. It is one of three spells Oliver acquires upon first meeting Old Father Oak, the others being Healing Touch and Fireball.
