Queen Lowlah (カウラ女王陛下 Her Majesty the Queen Kaura), also known as Her Moojesty or the Cowlipha in English, is the Monarch of Al Mamoon.

Biography[]

She became ruler of Al Mamoon and lived in the largest palace in the city. As monarch, she has Abull as advisor. At one point, her heart was broken by Shadar, and caused her to loser her restraint. As a result, sh e loved cheese and began snacking on it.

Oliver came to the kingdom seeking knowledge and permission to use a ship at Castaway Cove. However, Abull told them to give her some cheese, and this act did nto satisfy her sufficiently as she wanted more. Oliver came back to give her some restraint, bringing her to normalcy. She teaches him 3 spells. When asked if Oliver and Esther can use her ship the “Sea Cow”, she gladly wrote a letter to Sindbah, knowing she had little use for it. Her soulmate in Motorville is Leila. When she lost her restraint, it caused Leila to love cheese as well. wlipha normal again. Afterward, she grants Oliver the use of her ship "The Sea Cow" as well as a few spell pages.

Personality[]

Queen Lowlah enjoys cheese and giving her advisor Abull a hard time. She is an excellent gardener in a long line of excellent gardeners, whose skill enabled the kingdom of Al Mamoon to flourish despite its location in the desert. Her Moojesty also has a little crush on Marcassin, the handsome monarch of Hamelin and one of the Great Sages. She happened to have a picture of him on hand to give to Oliver to aid him in locating Marcassin.

Trivia[]

  • She is possibly the largest mortal being in the world of Ni no Kuni, though she is smaller than more eternal beings like the Fairy Godmother or kingmakers.
  • Like King Tom XIV, Queen Lowlah refers to herself in a different manner of speaking than normal citizens, using the "royal we". In the original NDS game, she speaks using “I”, unlike Tom XIV.
