Niall (ニル Niru?, "Nil") is a character that appears in Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom.
Background[]
Niall is the leader of the Greenlings, a species of forest-dwellers that reside in Forest of Niall. He lost access to his own forest after losing a rigged gambling game against Master Pugnacius.
Niall later falls into a similar scandal where he believes a notice he receives stating that he is one of the lucky few that won a "grand prize". Although Roland knows it's a scam, Evan insists they check it out for him. After defeating the ambushing bandits, Evan and Roland return to Niall. Although disappointed, Niall reveals another notice he received, but learns his lesson quickly.
