Otto Mausinger (チューダイン Chūdain "Tudyne") was the royal adviser to King Leonhard, the leader of the Mousekind, and later the king of Ding Dong Dell in Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom.
Mausinger is the secondary main antagonist in Ni no Kuni II and the boss of Ding Dong Castle.
Plot[]
Mausinger was always a proponent for the equal rights of mousekind. And was great friends with Matthias the black knight and his advisor friend. He even became friends with Evan's father King Leonhard. However, due to the corruption of Doloran via the taint of Madshadow, Otto lost all sense of righteousness became corrupted. After this his other allies fell to corruption, he killed the king and usurped power. He also discriminated against the Grimalkin, putting them in ghettos. After he grasped control over the kingdom he sought to gain legitimacy by forming a kingsbond with the kingmaker Oakenhart. However he still felt that Evan was a threat and had Roland switch sides, this later proved to be a ruse however, as Roland was trying to gather information to help Evan all along. Eventually he and Evan's party face off with he and his kingmaker, after a hard-fought battle Otto loses and Doloran swoops in stealing his kingsbond; after it is revealed that his advisor was a traitor all along corrupted by the taint because of Doloran. Mausinger realizes the error in his ways and signs The Declaration of Interdependence. He teams up with the rest of the great nations, and attacks the horned one. After the defeat of the horned one his kingmaker comes back.

Mausinger becomes much more friendly and willingly battles with Evan so that Evan can grow stronger.
Tale of the Timeless Tome DLC[]
Mausinger gives Evan a sword belonging to his father King Leonhard.
Powers and Abilities[]
Mausinger is capable of Fire Magic, able to conjure multiple fireballs and launch them. He can channel fire to his sword for powerful melee attacks.
