The Tactic Tweaker is a gameplay element added in Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. It allows the player to enhance combat by tweaking various settings.

Monster Affinities[]

Allows the player to do extra damage against different monster types. The maximum a slider can go is level 5.

  • Solidity vs. Sliminess - Allows the player to do extra damage against solid or slimy enemies.
  • Nature vs. Nobility - Allows the player to do extra damage against natural or reptilian enemies.
  • Wonder vs. Wildness - Allows the player to do extra damage against beautiful or brutal enemies.

Elements and Ailments[]

Allows the player to increase their resistance to different element types. The maximum a slider can go is level 5.

  • Blaze vs. Befuddlement - Allows the player to increase resistance against fire damage or confusion.
  • Puddle vs. Poisoning - Allows the player to increase resistance against water damage or poison.
  • Bedazzlement vs. Blackness - Allows the player to increase resistance against light damage or dark damage.
  • Scirocco vs. Sleep - Allows the player to increase resistance against wind damage or sleep.

Spoils Settings[]

Allows the player to increase the type of rewards they receive in combat. The player can move the slider only one way on each side, putting both sliders on the same setting increases the effect.

  • Growth vs. Gold - Extra experience or extra gold
  • Cash vs. Kit - Extra gold or extra equipment
  • Finds vs. Finery - Extra equipment or extra materials
  • Refinement vs. Rarity - Extra materials or extra experience

Arts of War[]

Allows the player to enhance the combat abilities of their entire party. Unlike the other categories, this one lets the player enhance whichever they want freely instead of having to choose between two options. The maximum an ability can be increased is 3.

  • Durability - Reduces amount of damage taken when blocking.
  • Untouchability - Increases the length of time for which a character is invulnerable when dodging.
  • Fleet-Footedness - Decreases the amount of time it takes to escape from battle.
  • Dynamism - Increases the amount of MP restores by using items, taking damage, etc.
  • Eagle-Eyedness - Reduces the length of time required to charge up ranged weapons.
  • Brutality - Increases the damage dealt by heavy melee attacks.
