Use magic to help share a person's virtues. - Wizard's Companion heading

As previously explained, the heart is made up of virtues, emotions, and various other elements. This spell allows you to take some virtue from a person who has it an abundance, and store it in the Locket. Just be sure to ask for permission before you proceed. Remember: a heart belongs to one person, and one person alone.

Wizard's Companion, p. 25

Take Heart is an everyday spell that allows the caster to take a piece of someone's heart and to be kept in the locket for later use. It is one of two spells Oliver gets after defeating the Guardian of the Woods from Old Father Oak in the Deep Dark Wood, the other spell being Give Heart. The rune appears to be an incomplete heart with a horizontal line through the center.

Utilities[]

For the spell to be casted, an exceptional indiviual may be approached, who is indicated as a glowing green dot on the mini map and further indicated by the locket glowing when near their vicinity, followed by having a conversation with them, then having the spell menu opened, which prompts selecting Take Heart. Once casted, a piece of their heart is taken, showing an animation of their piece of heart going into the locket and the piece of heart appearing in it, which can be consulted by selecting the locket in the menu - which piece of heart that can be taken from an individual isn't revealed until they are spoken to.
