A Wayfarer is a person who is able to travel between the worlds of Ichi no Kuni and Ni no Kuni, as well as take other people with them. Usually, Wayfarers are mages, who cast the spell Gateway to open portals between worlds. Some Wayferers known as "Chosen Ones" can automatically travel between worlds via near-death experiences.
