Xanadu was a city built exclusively by magical means, and was floating in the sky. It was destroyed by Shadar, who broke the hearts of everybody in the city, resulting in them killing each other and the city crashing into the sea. Khulan was formerly the queen, before it was destroyed. In order to enter Perdida, you must speak to the ghost of a Xanaduvian guard inside Hamelin.
In Dominion Of The Dark Djinn, Xanadu has not been destroyed and is where Oliver and his friends go to see Khulan regarding mornstar.
